Japan 8 - Some last impressions from mthe last day...

Finally  would like to say about Japan:
- Not as rich as I thought
- Not as much Hightech as I thought
- The older people and teachers and so on much more human and natural than I thought
- All people interested very much in European culture and languages
- All of them I met like peace and would like to change the governement and politics, exspecially because of Iraq and China. They all dont like that their president visit the memorial to the soldiers of WW2 every year.
- Everyone was really nice and gentle to me. Even if they were not able to speak any English, they tried to help me however they could.
- It is a great country, with many modern and historical and also natural-places to visit
- But all together Japan is not a typical travel-country. Same as Germany.
- The Japan-Rail-Pass was really the best choose and a very good offer for foreigners. Travelling with that makes it much easier. The whole public system is a real wonder.
- In case of rubish / trash they are all very good teached. Nowhere you will find any trash / rubish on the street. If they get out of the train, they take the rubish with them. They dont throw anything onto the street and so on. They are all very clean. Not the cities are clean, but the people are clean. And so the cities are clean as well.

Thanks for the tour. Thanks for lissining to my texts.

Now I am back home in Germany. And on Tuesday I start a short 4-days tour with Esther to Berlin, our capital. We won that trip by a game (Lottery). We will visit many places and will drive with our fast bullet-train, the I.C.E. train. Now I will see how it compares to Japan.....
