Today I think it was
my best day I had here.
For other people it
might be boring.
But I was really
impressed by the old buildings.
The morning startet in
the hotel in Kyoto where I spent 2 nights.
It was right in front
of the imperial palace, which you see down here.
I started with the
bullet-train Shinkansen to Hiroshima. And half the way
between Kyoto and
Hiroshima you can find the Himeji-Station.
It is a small poor
town. I saw some workless and homeless people here.
But it has the biggest
and most impressiv and most beautifull castle in Japan.
It was big as European
castles are. And very impressev on the mountain.
Many rooms and too
many details I cant show you in one e-mail.
The pictures are
speaking their own language.
After that I took the
Shinkansen to Hiroshima.
Took the tram to the
south. Took the ferry to Miyajima-Island to see the
sundset at abaout 17 / 18.00 h.
And I was right in
time. It was the most beautifull sunset.
And the background was
really good to celebrate my last lonely night with a
cherry-tobacco-pipe.
After that I drove to
my guesthouse in Hiroshima, which you will see on my next
e-mail.
Take care.
